How It Works

Step 1 — Apply: Tell us your background, availability (day/evening/night), and learning goals.

Step 2 — Placement: We place you into a cohort based on NPT schedule options and capacity. Rolling onboarding means groups start throughout the month as cohorts fill.

Step 3 — Start: Join your live classes, complete weekly practice tasks, and track progress through A1/A2 checkpoints.

Transparent note: Cohort start dates and exact time slots are confirmed after application because schedules vary by group and teacher availability.

Schedule Options (Nepal Time, NPT)

We offer cohort schedules in NPT designed to work around hospital and clinic shifts

Day cohorts (example windows):

- Morning / midday blocks (exact times vary by group)

Evening/night cohorts (example windows):

- Evening blocks or late-evening blocks (exact times vary by group)

How placement works:

When you apply, select your preferred time range(s). We confirm your cohort schedule during placement based on availability and group size.

Shift-worker tips (short list):

- Choose a cohort where you can attend at least 4/5 days consistently

- Protect a daily study slot for vocabulary + listening

- Use conversation labs for extra speaking practice if your shifts limit partner practice

How We Teach Effectively in ~30-Learner Cohorts

Large cohorts can work when classes are designed for practice—not lecture.

Principle: Teacher talk time stays short; learner speaking time stays high through structured drills and breakout rooms.

Inside a typical 3-hour session

- Warm-up & review

- One clear new language point (kept short)

- Guided practice in pairs/groups

- Vocabulary in real healthcare contexts

- Communication task (roleplay/case scenario)

- Listening practice

- Review + corrections + homework briefing

Micro-groups during class

You’ll practice in breakout rooms (pairs or small groups). Teachers circulate to correct mistakes and help learners who need support.

Weekly conversation labs (recommended)

To increase speaking time, we recommend a weekly lab:

- 60–90 minutes/week

- Groups of 6–8

- Led by a teaching assistant or second teacher

This supports learners who are busy with shifts and need additional speaking structure.
